..That's kind of the point. In our system, you don't exactly need Pro-Style QBs or running backs like Mike Hart. Why would we want them in a spread offense?

And O-Lineman like Long can still come to Michigan. If they prevent D-Lineman from getting to the QB then they're more than welcome to come to Ann Arbor.

lloyd carr is a great coach 100 times better than rich rodriguez. the spread offense does not work in the bigten and he does not understand the intensity of the michigan and ohio state game

I love Lloyd Carr, but no. The spread doesn't work in the Big Ten? Says who? Ohio State? Penn State? Illinois? You don't know what you're talking about, man.

And he's never experienced the Michigan/Ohio State game, how do you expect him to understand the intensity?

@CollegeFootball13 you guys are both dumb. A. Ohio State doesnt run only spread. They are a multiple offense. Same for Penn State. They run Spread HD. They run from pro and pass from spread. As for Illinois, well look at their success. Michigan showed they could put up big numbers with that offense against bad teams but they never really sold me against bigger name teams. Truth is, Rich Rod's spread didnt work. Not "The Spread"
