Crossing the New Paseo Bridge AKA the Christopher S. Bond B

This Bridge was opened Fully to NB I-35, I-29, and US-71 Traffic just a couple of days before. Before that it was opened a month earlier for traffic coming off of Front Street to NB I-35. The chatter in the Video is about why they are tearing down the old Paseo Bridge. Which is already in progress even though it still carries the SB lanes stll.

The Christopher "Kit" S. Bond Bridge is a Cable Stay Bridge that is replacing the Old Paseo Bridge. Which is a Self Anchored Suspension Bridge meaning that the cables are anchored by the towers themselves instead of the ends of the bridge. The new Cable Stay Bridge is also self anchored by its tower. The Bridge Connects Kansas City, MO to North Kansas City, MO spanning the Missouri River.
