  • @aduki my favourite tower organist is John Bowdler, but Chris Hopkins @wersiman1 is my second favourite. Just because he plays a very different organ i does not make him rubbish. The wersi is probably my favourite electronic theatre organ although I do prefer the wurlitzer. If you look on Chris' Channel @wersiman1 there are some videos of him the Blackpool Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer. Chris is a very good organist, I think he is better than Phil Kellsall.

  • @MrThespazman And guess what? I don't like you. Idiot!

  • I DONT LIKE CHRIS HOPKINS BUT ALL THE OTHER ORGANISTS ARE AMAZING

  • @aduki99 The only way he Outshines ME!! Is with his Massive BALD head..It far outshines mine!! The Wersi player CHRIS HOPKINS

  • @aduki99 I'm not so sure that this comment is fair. They are both outstanding organists but are playing very different instruments - both masters of each.

    Regards

    Mark

  • john bowdler far outshines the wersi player . the wurlitzer is the best

  • The first part on this video Chris is using samples of the Tower Wurlitzer on the Wersi. The two organs complement each outher very well. The Wersi replaced a Yamaha ELX1 in ballroom around 2000.

  • just hought i would let you know these organs are two completely different organs. The first is a Wersi electronic organ and the second is the Mighty Wurlitzer theatre organ.. Blackpool tower ballrooms and one of the most well known theatre organs in the whole world made famous by the legendary Reginald dixon by the distintive sounds and somewhat bouncy method of playing used. The organists here are Chris Hopkins on electronic and John Bowdler on the Wurlitzer
