Canadian National Robot Games 2010 - Master Mini Sumo Robot Competition
This took place November 20th, 2010, at the Ontario Science Center.
What differs this competition from normal mini-sumo is that nearly all robots are custom-built, and most are built for high performance in this competition. There are also some unique strategies to some of these robots.

@augate92 Most of the robots use something like a QRE1113 or QRD1114 IR sensor. They use it to detect the white line on the edge and then back away from it.

Amazing!! HELP...I am working with my son building a robot and just learning. ANYONE who knows how these fast, small robots stop and turn so easily please email me. Its as if they have some sensor on the bottom keeping them on the table. drbillr6@gmail.com
