Most rappers are poets.What makes them seem bad is what they are rapping about/their talent.Fore instance,Lil Wayne has talent and is a good rapper,but in order to stay on top,he's got to comply with the masses.It's not that American rap/music in general is bad,it's just the pop industry has a different aim.The U.S industry aims for pleasing everyone,but ends up pleasing no one.Popularity is more important in the U.S industry than doing what you love.At least that's how I see it.Anyways <3 this.
