Despite being a fan of another NL East team, gotta say I much prefer the Mets to the Yankees. My grandfather grew up in NYC as a Yankees fan, but switched over once Steinbrenner came along; says he can't stand the team now as they only play for the money, not the integrity of the game.

this joke would have been alot funnier if they replaced the mets with the yankees. those yankees suck and their so overrated, you could take a peice of a yankee and they could still win a world series. forget about the mets, the yankees are the real joke cause they got beat by Boston in 04 in the ALCS!

dude, i was just saying for people to lay off the mets, i mean they had a good world series against the red sox back in the 80's and im not at all dissing the mets, cause the mets can be a really good team given the right coach, the right formula of practice, and the right level of push to make them a world series winning team. but i was saying about the yankees cause i can't stand the yankees
