  • Hi again, I really like this series of videos, I don't mean to sound critical. Would it be worth adding a what to do if you develop orange, red, brown urine, or no urine?

  • In chatting, I also recommend to fellow new patients to be well hydrated before, during and for a few days after the IVIG. Also have a supply of Rapid Dissolving Tylenol Extra Strength and Benadryl at home, just in case it is needed.

I've had the migraines, the HBP, the aceptic meningitis, so now I have my HBP medicine, and I take one Tylenol and one Benadryl every 8 hours for 2 days after my infusion. Something other people could ask their specialist about doing, if they have problems.

  • I've had 35 sets of IVIG for dermatomyositis. It was the only thing that made me stable. If I'd see this 3 minute series of warnings, I'd have probably refused treatment and now be dead.

Could you maybe add in some stuff about it being effective, that many of the side effects can be worked through, to be eliminated or controlled in future infusions?
