I'm an atheist and the only reason I deny the existence of god is because there is no evidence to show it. When there is no evidence that something exists, or even doesn't exist, we logically assume that this thing does not exist until evidence is shown. I am not in denial with myself like you say, I just prefer to believe in a logically correct truth than a comforting truth, but I can definately understand that other people want to believe in god.

Most definitely. You can come Zombie killin with me any time. I don't think its considered a sin killing someone that has already died. Hopefullg God has a double jeopardy law for that.

Well, being an Atheist, I obviously believe it was something other than God that helped you through your rough time-perhaps the love of others or your own reflection upon your life did it. Regardless, I can't change your mind because you're obviously sure you experienced something.

long story, but basically my parents are divorce,my house caught onfire, my mom lost her job, crzy stuff. i was forced to move away from my bestfriends, and when i went to heartland in irving, (i have always believed in god) they gave me hope, and as i liftd my hands in worship god rushed thru my body and wiped away all my hurt. that's a lonngggg story short. but if u want to know more ill send my testimony. it takes up 4 messages tho. god bless:)

I understand what you mean. When you look around at the complexities of our environment it's awe-inspiring. Nature is magnificent. However, when you actually look into it you'll see that there are natural processes that account for nearly everything in nature and that these processes are backed up by enormous amounts of evidence. Granted, there are some things science doesn't know yet but in those cases the honest thing to do is to say "We don't know" rather than "God did it".

Yes ther is joy to be had, so give us some joy without the anger of who is right or wrong. Deep relationships happen, when you have a great one with yourself. There is no shoulda woulda, up or down, left or right, black or white, gay or straight. We see things in either or and that leaves no room for infinity. Infinity makes everything go around and around constantly accelerating, meanwhile keeping the same speed, while creating an unperfect space & time calculation. Therefor, we must now lie.

Typical. Christains come onto Youtube wanting to debate Atheists and when they realize they have no arguments they just tell us were in denial. That we know Good exists and we won't admit it.

Maybe I'm being rude but I honestly don't care. My tolerance for Christians telling me that I don't even believe what I do believe is running low.

Seems YOU are in denial about me being in denial. I say for the record to you that I am not in denial. With all the conviction that YOU believe there is a god and he is your father, I believe there is not a god. For you to deny me my beliefs by telling me I am in a sense lying is to attempt to dismiss my ability to enjoy and be a part of all the wonder that life can hold for everyone even if they do not share your beliefs. I need to add though, you are very amazing in your love and life w/god.
