@92dcm This is due to the horrible acoustics in the Dome. Check out the videos I posted of the band at the Forsyth County exhibition, and if you search for "GSU Marching Band at Alabama" you'll find a clip of the band playing in front of 100,000 people. In either of those videos the band is anything but quiet.

Trust me, the band is not quiet.

i really wish georgia state formed a traditional style band instead of a corps style...i have nothing against it... i just think traditional style is more fun

Ok I go to GSU now, and as a former band student from a "little FAMU" marching band in high school...we are very quiet. If anyone taped the GSU v NCCU game...that's the video to see. Just a comparison.
