The girls had their first internal test since the winter training started.

Cheng Fei, who, only resumed training at the end of last year due to injuries also joined the test to compete on FX and VT. Both VTs had a start value that was above 5.0 and the execution of both were satisfactory for Coach Lu.

  • Can't believe Cheng Fei is back!! =D=D It's been almost 4 years!!

  • He ning was there~

  • Wow! We finally get to see the very anticipated Ling + 1/1! It's amazing that in Beijing two more skills counted and still her difficulty was only .1 higher there! This should be an F skill! I don't care if the maximum for pirouettes is an E! So glad that Cheng's back! Cheng FTW 2012!

  • @lizzle7654 You're welcome (:

  • @lovepandas Thanks so much for taking the time to translate - much appreciated :)

CF's first assignment would be the Universiade this August, but she states that basing on the test results, she might compete in the coming Nationals. HKX also benefitted from this test. She competed her new routine, worth 7.6 (world highest), for the first time. Even though she hesitated on her new move, she'll be competing this routine for the coming Nationals.

  • Part 3:

CF: since I haven't done this for so long.

These tests shouldn't have been a problem for CF, but she does get a bit nervous like any other would. Coach Lu followed her everywhere she went for her test. (Video shows Coach Lu standing behind CF)

CF: It's better to be safe. Also, if I feel that I can't do it, I'd want to shrink back a bit. For people who've been injured before, like me, we'd be more cautious about this.

  • Part 2:

Coach Lu (to CF): I am extremely pleased with your performance on the test. However, since you have the talent and ability to perform these moves, you shouldn't be lacking in confidence; right before the test, you requested to vault into the pit instead. Is that acceptable, hmm?

CF: The recovery period had various processes to go through and many obstacles to overcome. ruthfully, I'd be pleased with whatever results I got today,
