@Kingsamuelson for someone who had a father who abandoned him and his mother, and probably had very few true friendships because of being alienated as a chess master and not doing what everyone else does, he did the best he could and I hope people ignore his flaws and try to understand him and appreciate his wonderful mind.

honestly, people need to understand that yes Bobby Fischer is a genius and could whoop all of us at chess, but he also had his human flaws like everyone else does. His anti semetic remarks and speaking politics was coming from personal problems in his life and his world caving in. Its a sort of unconscious alienation from people to start saying provocative things to distance yourself... very sad that the world treated this gifted man to go in this direction.
