The young people featured have experienced gun or knife crime first hand. This is their story.

In 2006 UKYP worked with Michelle Golding to produce a film that highlighted gun & knife crime in the UK. Back then only 5 young people had been a victim in London. We all know that statistic has dramatically risen since.

Please share this film - it carries an important message.

UKYP made this issue their priority in 2006 resulting in this film and the programme of peer training.

  • I made a short film for my film studies coursework project. It is on my videos and it is called 'Young'.

It deals with the issue of teen knife crime, which whether directly or indirectly, it affects all of us. And hopefully people can relate to this film, or it can broaden some peoples' understandings.

    Feedback would really be appreciated.

    Thanks, P.
