A 4-Link coil over setup with a lateral rod. Unlike a leaf spring suspension, the FJ's rear setup isn't hindered by wheel hop and axle wrap. To help the FJ be as compliant as possible, special attention was paid to the live rear axle. For lower roll stiffness and increased articulation, a smaller 17mm stabilizer bar was used. In addition, 10mm more overall suspension stroke was added for a grand total of 230mm (9.06 inches) of travel and 545mm (21.46 inches) of overall rear articulation.
