Kirk--excellent actor. Filled with energy--almost like a keg of dynamite. You don't know which way he'll go! That's what makes a great actor--unpredictability.

Gorgeous! I love the way he'd pause and just tell you what he was thinking without speaking. I loved the beard (even though it covered his cleft.) Fun actor to watch.

A really well made movie, though there's
too much Hollywood stuff that ruins all.
If you wanna really see a perfect Odyssey
adaption and the best movie ever made of the Homer's poem, watch the Odissea
made by RAI in 1969 ( Franco Rossi as director , starring Bekim Fehmiu, marvelous Irene Papas, Barbara Bach...) .
That's the top, an unbeatable evergreen .

it seems to have been an Italian production. So I assume it was filmed in Italy, but I could not find any further detail yet.

I read The Odyssey.. barely finished yesterday, and am I in love with it!!!
just waiting to start wathching the movie at school tommorrow!!!
