Hi Nubian, I love how your hair came out. This is an unrelated question though- my locs are 7months old, budding and I want to dye them, in your opinion do you think its okay to do so?

Your locs are cute! Is it hard to maintain small locs? I just started my locs in August. They are small. My new loctician says that small locs break eaisly. Is that true?

Thank you! The locking period was rough. As my locs mature, the easier managing gets. Depending on how many locs you have, the maintenance can be time comsuming. Look at it this way, you only retighten every 4-8 weeks. Interlocked locs are very strong. The key to beautiful locs are conditioned and moisten locs. They will not break if the scalp and hair is healthy.
