The largest Brazilian event outside of Brazil is making its way to Toronto for the first time. For the past 25 years, Brazilian Day New York has turned 46th Street, also known as Little Brazil, into a giant party. Currently the event takes up 25 blocks and attracts 1.5 million people from all over the United States. Brazilian Day Canada will celebrate Canada's multiculturalism through one of the most vibrant cultures in the world. On September 7th, Brazil's Independence Day and this year's Labour day in Canada, the heart of Toronto will beat stronger, transforming into a sea of Canadians dressed in green and yellow swaying to the rhythms of Brazilian superstars, Carlinhos Brown and Elba Ramalho.
