@Maaarteh Yes, it is normal for the FBX files to be dramatically larger than the .blend file. I believe Unity importer for blender files only imports mesh's, not bones. However, exporting rigged models is supported in other modeling programs such as Cinema4D, Maya, Lightwave, MotionBuilder and Carrara. The problem is the price for these programs can be quite expensive. Sorry I couldn't be more help! -Cheers!
man, i made an animated human in .blend files it about 1.5 Mb. When I export it to FBX the .fbx file is about 54kb, is that normal?
Next thing is that when I start up unity and place the .fbx insde the assets I get an fatal blender error and unity says blender could not export it to Unity. Then I have an empty game object.
However, this doen't happen when I import not rigged, not animated models, then it all works fine.
I'm using python 2.7, blender 2.58 and unity 3.3 all really up to date
