In this interview, Intissar Kherigi challenges the view that multiculturalism has failed in Europe.

The spokeswoman of the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations calls for an end to the "fire-fight" with far-right political groups and outlines how she believes Islamophobia can be defeated.

Kherigi, speaking at the Council of Europe's civil society forum, also calls for a "progressive narrative for Europe," which recognises common values and interests and which is humane and inclusive.

  • How about the extremist views of thousands of muslims that wish to destroy Europe from the inside? No one believes your peace and harmony shit any more

  • I'm not exactly afraid of Islam; I am just afraid of being blown up into tiny little bits by an Islamic terrorist; I hate Islam more than I fear it.

  • Would be nice if the hadith of the sunni muslims were to teach human rights rather then actively violate them through teaching in-humane activities and/or morals usually via an imam.

Also, why was racism put into the 'Tags'?

Islam is a race now? I was not aware that everyone who is muslim are genetically born a muslim.

  • How about they stay in their own countries? We don't want them in the West!

  • This woman's thought process scares me. She speaks of attitude adjustments as if it was a top down issue, but then goes on to say that it will only have impact if it goes from the bottom up. So which is it, ma'am? Given your socioeconomic rant it would seem that you're in favor of legislation that attempts to adjust attitudes, which is the exact opposite of the "bottom up" approach.

Also, I never knew honor killings were a socioeconomic issue. You would have thought?

  • She can't go more than 10 seconds without using the pejorative "far right". Very typical. Before she presents her argument she attempts to reduce her opponent to being a radical. What a classically leftist tool (but her and her argument tactic).
