Why are you calling the Blessed Sacrement "Hostie"? That sounds disrespectful.
-
One should kneel when receiving communion, especially if one is not Physically unable to kneel.
To stand when you are able to kneel, shows disrespect for the Real Presence in the Host!
Also, ONLY the consecrated hands of a Priest should touch the Host, and the faithful should receive on the toungue.
To do otherwise, shows either ignorance of the real presence, or worse still; indifferentism. I wonder if Christ appeared to people now, would they refuse to kneel?

Jesus said that He is God and he proved it. He said we are to eat him if we will have life within us. EIther live in incest and go to Hell like the vast majority of Adults ... or become Perfect and bow to God - Eat God and Live Forever with the FEW in Heaven

well you said only concreted hands are to touch our Lord , and i was just pointing out that in the bible Jesus was touched by unconsecrated hands

Ok, I get the idea of kneeling. I do it in my parish but then again I am usually in the sanctuary with the priest during the consecration so this seems normal. On the other hand I also get a very uneasy feeling watching this fellow. He seems so full of anger. Were there not also abuses in the old rite? Our priests here jump on people and make them go to confession directly after Mass if they have not shown the proper respect for Christ. Clearly changing books was not the cause of abuse.

You misunderstood: I once saw a Hostie fall on the ground during hand communion. She just picked it up and put it back in the chalice like nothing happend.
My pastor has told me not to even genuflect before recieving, what should I do?
( I do make a profound bow at least, most people in my parish dont do anything)

You should genuflect.
However, the only real way they will listen to you is, don't give them any more $, tell others not to give them any more money. Then they will start to come around to the Catholic way of thinking...

I'm still scared to death the Hostie will fall out of my mouth. I'm used to hand communion so much, alas.

Scared?
If you were really scared you would receive only on the tongue. Only concreted hands are to touch our Lord. Are you so proud that you can't kneel?
