Shot on 16mm (Bolex) for Larry Riggins class at OCC in 2001. First animation on film. Song is by the Sparks from the Valley Girl soundtrack. I was tempted to go back in and color correct/sharpen some of the soft focus stuff ... but whatever. It is what it is!
UPDATE - I had to replace this video's audio because the copyright owner flagged my video. =/ Oh well. On your own, you should turn the computer down and rock your Sparks CD while you watch. =D

Great animation - really fun. I turned down the sound on the video and played my own copy of Monster of Love and it sync-ed pretty well. That was fun!

Excellent video. Don't blame Sparks, though. Blame the cheap music company Warner Bros and Atlantic records. They suck, and disabled the audio to my video as well, where other labels will just slap on a link to buy the song.

Yep. It always stood out to me since I saw that movie. That was my favorite part. Mostly because of the song... but it was a good part of the movie too... Poor Skip was hoping for the mom, but he'll take what he can get.
