Anti Static HD

Static is a real problem for reloaders with new equipment. Using a drier sheet will eliminate this problem. If your powder sticks to the sides of your funnels and powder thrower it can cause the powder to accumulate and mix with other powders. Then there is the danger of a static arc. This can cause a fire danger.

Is there any concern of contamination? Harrells only recommends the outside?

@chillerboy134a No. It just gets rid of the static. Use a drier sheet that went through the drier.

That works good for the inside of the funnel and the hopper. Have you ever used a no. 2 pencil and colored the inside of the plastic parts in the lower parts of your hopper? i have no tried it but some people have said that it prevents makes the surface smooth and prevents static. Could you see a problem with contamination from that?

Putting graphite on equipment will reduce static too. That's why the powder looks gray or black. Mfr's. add it to the powder

I've always wondered if there is any danger with the static. I'm sure the chance of a discharge is pretty low but still, the though crosses my mind when I see the powder flying around in the funnel...
