Nick's P.O.V
"i dont want you to leave"i said softly as a tear slid down my cheek. i hugged lauren tighter. "i dont want to leave"lauren said as tears were sliding down her face. "here, i made you something"lauren said as she reached into her pocket. she pulled out a green and pink string bracelet and handed it to me. i put it on as lauren pulled up her sleeve. "see, i have one to"lauren said. "i made them so we will be best friends forever"lauren sniffled. "thanks. you promise we will be best friends forever?"i said. "promise"lauren smiled. we pinky promised and i pulled her into another hug. little did i know, it would be our last hug for 8 years. we pulled away and lauren walked to her car. she turned and looked at me one last time. lauren got in the backseat and the car started driving down the street. as it turned the corner, one final tear escaped my eye and fell down my cheek. me and lauren were only eight at the time, but we were best friends.

* 8 years later *

Lauren's P.O.V.
i sat down in my seat on the plane. i turned my phone on and turned on disney channel. "when you look me in the eyes, and tell me th-" i clicked end. a tear slid down my face as memories came flooding back to me. i still couldnt believe that my childhood best friend was a superstar. i hadn't seen or talked to nick, joe, or kevin in 8 years. i tried to put them in the back of my mind for the rest of the flight. but at the bottom of my heart, i wondered if nick still remembered me after 8 long years. if he remembered our promise we made to eachother. i looked at my wrist and sighed. of course he doesnt remember me, im just some girl and he's 'nick jonas'. finally the plane landed and we headed to our new house.

Nick's P.O.V.
"dude! that was totally not a strike!" joe yelled at me. "yeah it was! are you blind?" i backfired at him. "are we getting new neighbors?"kevin asked as a black escalade pulled into the driveway next to us. a brunette got out of the backseat and walked inside the house. about 5 minutes later she came back out and headed to the back of her car. "woah! who is that?" kevin smiled. "i dont know but shes seriously hot!" joe chimed in. i decided to go say hi to our new neighbor since joe and kevin didnt seem to have the guts to. i walked over to her as she was turning around. "hey, im nick" i said while extending my hand to her. we started to shake hands when she suddenly stopped. she was staring at our hands. i looked down at them. my heart started beating faster. she was wearing a bracelet. it was identical to the one i was wearing. the color was dull, but i would of recognized it anywhere. we were both wearing pink and green bracelets.

soooo....yeah this might be a new story i am writing. do you like it? tell me if you want me to continue burnin' up for the new girl or remember me now? i am probally going to do only one, so tell me which one you like better!!but you never know, i may suprise you and do both! and also i am not going to post any more chapters of either story untill i get 5 more subscribers! so if you really like my stories, tell people about them! spread the word! thanks!
