Israel enterred the world of competitive skating with a young emigree from the Soviet Union. Misha had a very showy style. One would have thought he was trained in California in the ice capades tradition. Some fine Israeli ice dancers would soon make an appearance as well.
I remember him too. As the 90s went on he was very good. I think he was underrated. I think he had great showmanship and could have had a far more vigorous professional career. I don't remember seeing much of him after 98, sadly.
