I was invited by Neal Donovan to talk about grassroots advocacy being the change that is needed. Of course, I brought my laptop and we took a moment out of our meeting for a short interview. I found out today that the National Coalition for the Homeless was started by homeless people when they sued New York City several years ago. This is a great interview given an overview of what the Coalition does and how you can help effect change.

  • HOUSING IS HEALTHCARE!

You're doing a really good job, Mark.

  • invisiblepeopletv rocks ! I would just add, since I've been homeless myself is that I think people often invision the homeless as being the guy with patched jeans and cardboard sign. Most people don't realize that most of those people are just hustlers and the real homeless look just like me and you. I think that changing that image is the real obstacle in homelessness awareness. thanks, Danny
