This was in Taller Ce at Rio Piedras Puerto Rico in a series of jam sessions with Miguel Zenon. David Sanchez was in the audience and was invited by Miguel to play a couple of songs. The bassist is Ricky Rodriguez and the drummer is Henry Cole.
"Alto saxophonist and composer Miguel Zenón was named one of 25 recipients of the 2008 John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation fellowship, an award that pays $500,000 over five years. The winners of the "genius award" are chosen by a secret committee, and they don't know they are under consideration until they have won, when they receive a phone call."

Miguel Zenon is doing all this new stuff and it's great, but when it comes to your blues and rhythm changes, Miguel just tears it up stinky!
