this video is stupid..1st of all GOD did not harden pharoahs heart like u want people to believe..when the bible says GOD hardened pharoahs heart it means that pharoah was just stubborn as hell and each time GOD sent down a plague it made pharoah even angrier so he refused to let the israelites go....why would GOD intentionally harden pharoahs heart and make it so he wouldnt let go of GOD'S people?..that makes no sense

Read your bible. Exodus 7:4 explains WHY the god hardened the pharoah's heart. He supposedly wanted to show off to the people of Egypt and let them know who was boss.

There are several quotes that clearly point out that the Judean-Christian god was supposedly the one hardening the pharoah's heart.

As to it not making much sense... we're in agreement there. Much of the bible doesn't.

You know what annoys me, because of the god damn bible I grew up ignorant in a sense, I mean I snapped out of it early but some thing that should just be common knowledge are only now just catching up with me at age 20, for instance until about 6 months ago I thought that the Egyptians enslaved Jewish folk as a fact when in actual fact there is no evidence for this at all is my new understanding and I'm betting there are millions of people who just take it as fact like I did. Truly upsetting.

the reason yahweh hardened the pharaoh's heart was so he COULD kill all the babies and first born... man haven't you read the bible? It's full of the slaughter of babies, I personally think it's Yahweh's favorite thing to kill, infanticidal maniac, supreme being. DAMN!

what you dont understands is first you have to beleave before you can understand the bible.

Second every human has made some sins, and every sin need death. And because of the disbeleive, the people of Egypt died. Would a just judge free a guilty person? Do not say that God isnt just and dont give chanses to regret sin.

I thought a lot of this stuff as a child and would laugh at attempts by Sunday school teachers to explain the lack of "logic" the the "Good Book". Gotta feel sorry for them :(

@imrational God demanded it to build up suspense until the ultimate sacrifice. The Bible even says so! God didn't demand a sacrifice at all. Jesus came down to Earth in human form and let himself be killed for us to show his love. He could've done something else, but do u appreciate someone who just says they love u or actually proves it? The Bible says that too. And u guys read it? Really? Then how come ur asking me questions that have their justified answers in the Bible?

@imrational "Their gods caused the plagues". I have a big book of Egyptian myths and stories absolutely chock full of plagues, curses, and illusions performed by gods and even the Egyptians themselves. Pick one.
