What a great idea. Is it going to be available without the bike also for the pilots who need the extra storage space? Does the bike come in various colors? Can the bike be personalized with the N-number? Are the helmets included? This could save so much money (not to mention time) on the hassle of renting cars, taxis, etc. Neat!

Yes, it is available without the motorcycle for cargo applications. The motorcycles are finished with custom decals to match your airplane and free helmets are included with every motorcycle. Yes, over the life of the product, many customers will actually save money.

It's currently available for the Vans RV-10, but we're working towards STCs for a C182, SR-22, DA-42 and others. Bike (220 lbs) + Pod (45 lbs) = 265 pounds total. The rear of the pod is carefully designed with a small amount of cusp to help in pressure recovery and low drag. On the RV-10, we measured a 5.4% reduction in cruise and handling was not affected.

This is amazing. The two best ways of personal travel in one solution. But you need to preflight the bike better next time, rear tire is very low on pressure! :)
