"The Hessians"
German mercenaries from the state of "Hessian-Cassel" in the American War of Independence 1775-1783.
The Hessian soldiers were eighteenth-century German regiments hired through their rulers by the British Empire. Though used in several conflicts, they are most widely associated with combat operations in the American Revolutionary War.

Auch hierfür ein Riesen Dank an Dich . Das erinnert mich immer an die Sonntage

wo morgens früh schon die Musik lief daheim . Mein Dad ( Gott hab ihn selig er verstarb Juni 1991) liebte Musik unter anderem eben auch Marschmusik. und ich erinnere mich wage dieses auch gehört zu haben. ja die gute alte Zeit ,,oh man da wird einem bewusst wie die zeit vergangen ist. na dann liebe grüße zu dir vom alten mauschen schmunzel :0)
