I am seriously in love with Howl. He is freaking anime eye candy, and the way he says, "That's my girl" is the most adorable thing I have ever heard. He can float me down to a bakery balcony anytime he wants to. As in, NOW. (But unlike the Witch of the Waste, I'm not going to be an idiotic pyshopath and try to steal his heart for the rest of eternity. Face it lady, you're an ugly hag. AND HE'S MINE.) @94syamim Nope. Howl's moving castle date from 2004, which is far from their first movie. Their first one (or the oldest I've seen) is Laputa:Castle in the sky which date from 1986. I recommend it highly, The quality of the story AND the visual are worth any Ghibli movie. (for any older movie, the oldest to date BEFORE the formation of Ghibli studio is Horus, Prince of the Sun (french title is this, couldn't find the original or english title)).

can someone please tell me if this is ghiblis first movie. if it is then i sincerely have to say theres nothing more special and enjoyable than watching ghiblis first piece of art. i mean come on from all the ghiblis movies this is the first one i've seen with such an exciting couple in it. for those who never watch it you better watch it.
