Thanks for sharing that, Very impressive! I have been shopping for an Udu and I saw the Meinl Fiberglass Udu's. I was curious how they would sound compared to a ceramic. I do like the extra sound options on the bottom and the center pad. So have you played a ceramic? what are the differences you have noticed?

thanks, The ceramic udus that I have played are much heavier and can't quite produce as many distinctive sounds. The mienl fiberglass udu seems to emulate the sound of ceramic well but it does sound just slightly unnatural sometimes. If you do decide to get a ceramic udu, make sure it has thin walls (for more dynamic range). I highly recommend the mienl though.
