So pretty,I fell in love with that melody a couple years back when I first heard it played and sang by our friend "Peanut Faircloth" who passed on in march. You are awsome on the Dobro ! God Bless !!!!!!!

outstanding dobro work...

I agree with dobroal, your styling gives your interpretation "character" - just too bad it stopped too soon. Please re-do and re-post.

That's some nice slide guitar playing :)
beutiful playing, grace and style. the old guys and the old style is how the dobro is to be played ,todays style of 200 notes per second does not do this guitar justice. cant wait to become a snowbird .thanks for the treat Robert

Robert has played with and I think learned from many of the "old" dobro player in the business. He has rubbed elbows with the likes of "Uncle Josh" Graves and Bashful Brother Oswald. He has pictures of this. He carries one in his case, where he was playing "on stage" at The Grand Ole Opry, back in the day. This guy is a wealth of knowledge about the old time music, how it was back then, and plays just about anything with strings. What a talent!, I am so thankful to be able to call him "Friend"
