Talking Larry The Bird performing The Baron From The Falls (Gerry Adams).
Lyrics:
Oh it's of a brave republican the story I will tell
His name was Gerry Adams and in Ireland he did dwell
It was on the Belfast Mountain he commenced his wild career
And many a noble Orangeman before him shook with fear
And it's Baron from the Falls, Baron from the Falls
Bold, brave and undaunted was the Baron from the Falls
One day upon the Falls road as Gerry he went down
He canvassed for election but he would not serve the Crown
Come gather round me people and we'll make our country free
My name is Gerry Adams wont you come and vote for me
Says the Baron from the Falls, Baron from the Falls
Bold, brave and undaunted was the Baron from the Falls
Now M.I.5. had gone to town Provisionals to spy
But when they spied our Gerry they began to weep and cry
For when he was elected the power went to his head
The Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead
Is the Baron from the Falls, Baron from the Falls
Bold, brave and undaunted was the Baron from the Falls
Now with a loaded ballot box the truth I will unfold
He made it to Westminster and he robbed them of their gold
A Baron-hood was offered on his resignation there
Then he with horse and saddle to County Louth did repair
Did the Baron from the Falls, Baron from the Falls
Bold, brave and undaunted was the Baron from the Falls
Now Gerry is a blow-in on the Cooley Mountains high
With his cavalry of Shinners for Dail Eireann he will try
With his I.M.F. off policy and his bold fenian men
And Ireland long a province be a nation once again
Said the Baron from the Falls, Baron from the Falls
Bold, brave and undaunted was the Baron from the Falls
Cute!

@kanenkitten Even if it's not possible for him to reject the title (which is arguable), surely he can't actually be forced to serve the Crown if he chooses not to.

@thetwangman: Well of course being British I do find that very funny that he is now directly serving the Crown he claims to hate

@kanenkitten The irony of Gerry Adams having the title of Baron bestowed upon him by the Crown should be amusing whether you support Gerry Adams or not. But I suspect his loyal supporters might think the lyrics of the song are too mean while his enemies might think they are not mean enough. The fact that I used a talking bird app on my phone to make the video should make it clear that I was having a laugh.

@thetwangman: Oh I see now. I must have seen differently because some of the wording originally seemed a bit iffy to me as I was looking at it from a British point of view where as you intended it for the Republic of Ireland viewer I guess?

@kanenkitten The intention of the song was to use that irony for humorous effect, which is mocking in my book.

@thetwangman: Such a shame it wasn't mocking because he doesn't even want the title as he didn't want to apply for it. By the way, as an MP he was supposed to be serving the house of commons and his contituants, now as he's been appointed as The Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead he IS now serving the Crown as it's a paid office of profit under the Crown so he is now serving the Crown he claims to hate so much directly! Irony is a great thing

@kanenkitten I've put the lyrics up. Let me know what conclusion you draw from them.

@TheSmithersy I did have the lyrics up but then I took them down as I wanted to know if people could hear them. But as they are probably difficult to hear I've put them up again.

Is this supposed to be mocking him or supporting him?
I hope it's mocking as I can't hear the words clearly
