Issaquah Flooding 1-8-09

Video I shot Thursday January 8, 2009 while driving into town. Although the road was closed, there was no security so I took the risk by driving around the barricades. My thought was I could always stop and turn around if it got bad unlike those we see on the TV that think they are invincible. As it turned out, I did not see why the road was closed to begin with. A two-wheel drive vehicle could have made it easily. On the return, a State Patrol officer was stationed at the far end of the closure and did not seem to care that I had gone through. That said, don't try this at home! 8^)
