Hi patullose, this was a great trip and yes it was easy to meet people. There were heaps of aussies so that should help with that for you. I'm looking at going back in 09 to do the Grand Southern. I did the Grand Northern last year and had a blast.

I'm planning too do this in 09...i've never been over seas b4 (i'm from australia) and i'm also traveling along....is it a good trip? do u meet people easly?

I have done the Wild Western Tour this year 2006 and my Tour Manager was Adam an the Bus Driver Grag.

21 days and I will be off doing this too!!! I am doing the LA to the Bay Tour. Leaving Aus on 7th April! Thanks for the vid to help me get excited. It looks awesome!!! And did all the extra actitives by the looks of it.. Hope the bunch of people I am with as just as good looking as you lot!!!

Hey BelleHolliday, yes I did all the extras and they were well worth it. It was a very fun trip. I'm off to Adelaide to see my friend from this trip on 10th April. If you have Gerg or Silvia as a bus driver say hi and do the same if you have Todd Geist as your tour manager, they are all fantastic.

I managed to meet one of the people on the tour by chance at the hotel a few days before the tour started and we hung out before at Universal. Check the contiki web site to see if you can get in contact with fellow tour mates before you even leave for the tour. That way you will sort of know people.

Hey there I did this tour (well the western highlights) in July 2005...when did you do yours? who was your Tour Manager?

I did mine in 2004, Scott was my tour guide. Got us great tickets to a the Giants game
