  • @actorboy59 That makes me feel better about myself. I can hit all the notes, they just sound extremely strained.

  • @JJBerthume I just got the part a few weeks ago, and I'm still worried about the high notes. I'm not used to all the Es and As. its very embarrassing at practice when I try and my voice cracks :/

  • @JacksonAndCo18 Not at all. Sorry :D

  • I got the part of Laurie! I'm a little nervous about some of those high notes though......

  • Voice classification is not about how high someone can sing, it's about the voice type which is why I'm a mezzo with a soprano range. This guy is clearly a tenor.

  • im auditioning for this show next week and im not what you would call a tenor, but it still sounds pretty good

but no one can beat this guy, he's like amazing!

  • Any other Lauries here? I'm doing this for my high school and I'm so excited!

  • @voodoochild1337 there are plenty of guys that sound like tenors but have a baritone range, even some that can only get up to a G. it's not uncommon, especially for younger singers.

  • @anonymousarecool

Also voice placement, which is the biggest deal.

Tenors voices are primarily forward and more biting.

    Baritones have a deeper tone.
