you're a pakistani and travelling on an airline which took PIA's help to establish itself! shame for not travelling on PIA!

PIA is better than Emirates you know why? Coz its my national flag carrier! And no matter how its services may be i'm going to travel on my watan's airliner rather than alien ones! I have travelled on EK's first flight to Karachi on board PIA's B737-300 (AP-BCD) in 1984 which was in Emirates colours for short period during the lease.... from the inside it was my PIA!!

@trulysalman84 hi there..... you're trying to be truly as you may like this word but dear you are over reacting, for others and you especially, tags might be the concern but for me it is purely planes, i like them and i know every bit of them and surely i am well aware of the plane donated by PIA to emirates but from then till today there are things to watch and learn, emirates never asked PIA to dip deep into crisis after donating a plane.

well that's good to hear that you know every bit of them...may i humbly inform that i am a mamooli virtual pilot with more than 2000 IFR hrs on the record :) with a PPL... so I also know about planes just a bit more than u do buddy:) so let's not talk about aeroplane mechanicals here... my point was that as a Pakistani your first preference should be PIA dear friend not any other one...it feels sad to see so many Pakistanis travelling on other carriers while PIA struggles.

@trulysalman84 Aah cool, on the same track, IFRs-VFRs, i also have been into virtual cockpits and i am well known to boieng 777 and airbus A320, i was allowed 3 days a week and wanted it more than to eat or to breathe, i just wanted to show my interest in planes but not tags, didnot explained my skills as youtube offers u limited characters and would've been off topic!

@trulysalman84 What a strange way to reason?? Emirates was founded in 1985 as a reaction from the rulers of Dubai to Gulfair cutting flights into Dubai, EK started with three leased aircrafts and have grown into this giant.Most people choose carriers because of price and convinenience, not nationality..I would never choose my national airline(SAS_ because its service and schedules can t match eiteher Qatar airways or THAI. Dubai always had plenty of money to start ventures.

@trulysalman84 Yes PIA did help Emirates start up, they leased out things such as 737's to Emirates, however PIA has gone down hill and has morons running it. Back in the days PIA used to be something but now it's just another ruined airline, I used to love PIA but not anymore. Things such as them giving away booked passenger tickets to their executives without warning are precisely the reason why I fly Emirates instead.

I were born in UAE nd nice 2 view that u r travelling in Emirates. I have travelled twice in this airline. Most of the flights which is scheduled to India nd Pakistan. Pilot's are Pakistanis but PIA is also Incomparable Airline in the world.

@MrUmairG i will have to agree with trulysalman84 here. I hold nothing against emirates or any one ( having traveled on various flights other than PIA) PIA certainly holds the best atmosphere that makes you feel at home and yes it should be our preference.

i'm glad you accept this fact! Than what's the matter with travelling on PIA? there're daily flights from Dubai! just imagine thousands of people who travel from other carriers if they'd travel with PIA how much benefit will we give to our national flag carrier:)
