I was born an American, My home town is in Georgia but I've never felt at home here. I can't explain it but when I hear a bagpipe or see pictures of those green hills and rocky beaches...something stirs in me and I feel a longing to be there. My parents both have Irish blood that dates back a while and so I guess the best way to describe it is that, my bloodlines run back to Ireland...and one day so will I.

You know, I live in the US. My home town is in Georgia. Yet I have never felt at home here. I can't explain it but if I hear a bagpipe or see a picture of those green hills I feel a stir in my stomach and a longing to be there. My father and mother both have Irish blood in them and I guess the best way I can say it is: My bloodlines run back to Ireland...And one day so will I.

I couldn't be more proud of the Celtic blood that runs through my veins

@johnathon287 I like how that peace always seems to be ruined by religious zealots who can't understand it. I wish we could love each other, and accept ourselves for who we truly are.
Is it so wrong to accept the differences in ourselves and others?

@deecahalin Well, you're either not able to understand what I'm trying to say or you simply don't want to. I'm not going to repeat myself. And to make one thing clear: I'm an agnostic atheist, I believe that every divine extistence has been made up by humans in order to explain the unexplainable and to establish social rules. This means I don't care for your spiritual singsong. I simply like the music, I'm not trying to be a Celt or anything else, I am who I am and content with it.

@Lossarnach23 O.K.there partner how foolish of me to tell you that we are born free.I am only beholding to my Creator and my belief system and I owe my integrity to my Irish Mother and Father because they raised me and I will tell you that I live my life beholding to nobody but God and that is the truth. You might think that you live in the real world but until you FEEL God living in you then you are not a Celt.Amen
-
@deecahalin Please spare me such religious mission, I live in the real world and I'll deal with what comes after it (if it actually does) when I get there. I'm not talking of the lacking ability to achieve goals in life, I'm talking about the selfish wish to fulfill your own wishes without consideration for others. Evolutionary we're social beings and though society also has its downsides it's been a beneficial system for thousands of years and not to be faced with ingratitude.

@Lossarnach23 Let us be simple and let us be clear. To know that you can do whatever you want is not being childish it is Knowing God.The Celts are quite clear when it come's to knowing their Ancestors and knowing the true God,The Creator of the Light that the Universe knows. There is no price to pay for entrance into this Irish World. You just have to know and believe in God while you're here and then you need the backbone to speak it and know it and live the life that is yours.
i love how this video is the only one that has only peaceful kind comments about loving each other and being good to each other
