  • this shows is a mind fuck and WTF all the way!( i watched this series)

  • "It is extremely imprudent to come to school by horse!"

  • I love how the whole time they are complaining about how boring and normal the school is, weird and interesting stuff is happening. Like the robot, random dude riding a horse, the brown hair'd dude's hair growing out quickly, random bear thing popping up, UFO, old man in the sky, dude being biten by a horse and last but not least, that purple mohawk waving :o

  • Roflmao when they walk back and forth

  • @BattleButlerJeeves because Tech Tv got the rights before they changed to G4 and got their anime kicked

  • @BattleButlerJeeves

It was a few years ago, thats how I found out about it

  • I feel like this happens with a lot of Cromartie High scenes; like, despite all the crazy things happening, there's the sense of some really intelligent deeper meaning behind everything.

  • @nucktard Actually, no. It is possible, it's just not easy. Go watch El Dorado, it's an old John Wayne film.

  • Analytical parodical comedy disguised as non-sequiters. It's a shame this show's not more popular, but I understand why it isn't.

  • it's Freddie... not Freddie Mercury. Bear in mind, this cartoon and the manga it is based on are works of parody comedy. Sakigake! Kuromati Koko is largely believed to be inspired by Sakigake! Otokojuku. All versions of Cromartie are existent post-2000 AD. Otokojuku ran from '85 to '91. Freddie Mercury died in '91, but is not a character from Otokojuku, only Cromartie. One can only conclude that Cromartie's Freddie is a bear-like homosexual parody of Mercury whom all may revere as a real man
