Beautiful. Simply beautiful. This is the first version I heard back in late 1972. It will always be my favorite no matter who else does this. I like that it is not over-produced and feels very intimate. Just beautiful lyrics married to beautiful music by an extraordinary voice. Pure and simple.

It was the very best take because it was so simple and

captured the true feelings of the writter.

It is my personally favorate song of all time.
