The Original CATTLE CALL, written by Tex Owens in 1934. His 1934 recording was released on this Decca label 78 rpm record about 1947. Eddie Arnold recorded this in 1955 and it became a country music classic, but this is the original, real cowboy music! Enjoy!

Hi, thanx for posting this. I forwarded it to a record collector friend, who said "It was both recorded & released in 1934. The label shown on youtube is a reissue. It was first issued on Decca 5015." (He also said he liked it!)
