This is the first batch of model rocket engines that we made. They're just reloaded Estes engines that should fit right into our model rockets. All of these engines blew out the nozzle or exploded altogether. There are 6 C-sized engines, 2 D engines and 2 E engines. The engines were repacked with various grades of black powder. The duds were disassembled and rebuilt.

That's a lawn mower you hear in the background.

  • did you compress the bp enough i noticed when i took apart an Estes that the bp was really highly compressed i had to grind it up because it was rock hard in the shape of the tube also are you using the right bp comp
