i support euthanasia and assisted suicide because the victim is suffering and if he or she doesnt want to continue the suffering from depression or w/e, then grant his or her wish by killing them. i honeslty would want euthanasia performed on me if i were suffering and couldn't bear the misery and hardships. it should be legal, its not like murder where one kills another for vengance.

This isn't about God. It's about what's right and what's wrong. Everyone should have the right to die, especially if they are in constant pain and are no longer able to live their life the way they choose.

@liveforapurpose I understand that your religious and this is your opnion, however it doesnt make sense for religous people to force their opnion on people that DO want to have euthanasia. It's your OWN life and your OWN deicision.

I hate abortion and death penalty because the person dying does not have a choice. However, euthanasia is someone wanting to die and I think they should have the right. The only concern I have is that they dont want to die but there is somehow a misunderstanding or even if a doctor knows and hates the person..they could be killed without their choice. But I don't see it happening too often so for the most part I don't see a problem with letting people choose since it IS their life

@enteaulysses What about when David killed Goliath? So OBVIOUSLY there are some exceptions. However, you are entitled to your belief. Although, I'm sure that may change if, God forbid, you yourself become bedridden, unable to do the simplest things for yourself (wiping yourself, eating, etc), and full of pain. Then we will see how long you stay on that high horse of yours.

@tonna15 sorry but i have another view regarding euthanasia. i can't say that this issue isn't about God. its about God because life is God. God gives us this life and only he has the right to take it away from us. i know its hard to say, but everything happens for a reason. Also, this issue isn't only about the right to die but legalizing this gives the person the right to kill. if we look back to the bible, it is clearly written that no one should not kill.
