  • And of course the women's asses and men's bulges get plenty of air time.

  • I remember this! In the early 90s I would buy my Levi's at the one in the Glendale Galleria.

  • I did some Miller's Outpost commercials sometime between 1977-1979 as well as some LA County Fair Commercials during that time. Would be really cool to see them again or show my son. Does anyone know how to find old commercials from that period of time? I was the Miller's Outpost girl before the two cowboys (J.R. & Homer).... ;) Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

  • They had two Miller's Outposts in Santa Maria, CA in 1989. One in 95, then an Anchor Blue after 2000.

  • LoL, Miller's Outpost. Classic. Something tells me that while taping TORA TORA TORA someone forgot to press STOP or PAUSE during the commercial break, hence this "happy accident" that comes in handy 20 years later when you start reminiscing about the good ol' days. Remember that? Trying to create "seamless" recordings on your VHS recorder while taping from the TV?

  • @mikeym820 Crazy. My 1st job was at Universal Studios Hollywood in the Summer of 1997 and minimum wage was $4.75 then! Not much of an increase! :-(

  • My first job was in 1994, and minimum wage was still $4.25 an hour.

  • Look at those prices! Remember when clothes cost that little?

Of course, it seemed like a lot of money at the time. Back in the 80s, minimum wage was $4/hour.

  • @junglefighter25

as a kid i remember that most. eventually it became a regular department store with better clothes.

  • I worked at a the Miller's Outpost at the Plaza Pasadena Mall in Pasadena, CA, 1986-1987.

  • TORA TORA TORA!

  • Anchor Blue can kiss my ass!
