After uploading a video on hanging bottle farms I received some messages from people who didn't have as many tools as I. This video shows a method to use smaller bottles and fewer tools to achieve similar results as in my 2-liter farms. This method takes out the need for a power drill, as you can poke a hole through the caps with just about anything and we aren't drilling through the bottoms of the bottles. By cutting two bottles and gluing them together you can increase the root space for your plants without using large bottles.

Because this method puts much more strain on the glued double caps, I would suggest using five minute epoxy rather than hot glue.
