@mattypong It may be the difference between an emulator and a regular ol NES. I have this game on an old Nintendo system and you're right...I can't get the holy water to work for me either against this douchebag. The emulator versions of this game might have a bit more arc on the holy water. I beat this faggot the other day for the first time ever...but with the boomerang and that was one hell of a fight with my television receiving all kinds of childish name-calling. Good luck!

@Quartzzzz It is cheap but have you ever fought that prick straight up on the regular NES? He is the biggest bastard in the game....and that's saying alot considering everything else you have to deal with in CV! I say any way you can kill that big bitch without pulling your hair out is ok in my book.

how do u do that i always get 2 hits with the holy water but then he just gets up and chucks the sythes its impossible i always die and he has 5 little pegs of life gone but never more than that plz help me ugh i just tried again an di got him down to 4 little pegs but nope he got up again

Just like defeating the Count in Simon's Quest...same exact method, and to top it off he looks just like the Reaper too. The most awesome version of Death is in Super Castlevania IV. Good vid

Holy Water stops any boss monster from moving. If you watch the final boss battle, I use it to keep Dracula's Ghost from destroying me.
