It's about time. The Cyber-space is the current battle space. The Pentagon and the NSA get hit by hackers hundreds of times a day. There was a major hit last year. With all the other cyber threats the public face the additional threat from a breach at our defense headquarter would be devastating. That is why the DOD and the Obama White House has recognized this threat and stood this needed command up. We being the USA have great technology which makes us both capable and targeted.
