@usecori well...., I don`t. I hate her for it. John Edwards has been the strongest voice on the issue poverty, since Robert Kennedy. He was to the poverty issue, what Al Gore was to global warming. Edwards is a man and he made a mistake. Newt Gingrich did the same with his first wife and then cheated on his 2nd wife, with his current 3rd wife. But he doesnt know shit, but he gets to run for president? Hypocrisy!!!

@cat22203 Grow a heart, please! I really can't see her as power-hungry...I would say she was a victim of chronic emotional abuse. Aside from the affair, a woman who wasn't afraid of her husband wouldn't have worried about him not getting to run for office because SHE was dying...she'd have told him that he could wait and run again when she was dead if it was that important to him. And the fact she stayed quiet for him about the affair shows this so-called love was actually just bullying.

God bless Elizabeth Edwards, but she KNEW at this point her husband's affair could destroy the democrats should he get the nod. Bill Clinton did not run on family values, hypocrite John Edwards DID run on the family values. At THIS point he knew he knocked up his skanky mistress and he's sitting there with a smirk on his face. It's unfortunate that she thought her legacy would be tarnished by pulling out because of cancer. HIS legacy will forever be tarnished for being pathological liar.
