  • @cordovawolves53 No, I'm just trying to put some common sense here before everyone gets their panties in a wad about all that. It doesn't make sense to jump on the "farmers are cruel" bandwagon when we can't even see past the end of our noses of what's REALLY going on. And 99% of the time those folks on the side of the road and those who watch the vid have really no idea what's going on.

  • Ataxia

  • Shut up IluvABeef are you like his daughter?

  • ...except for the bad feet, the mange, and the real sick ones.

You need to get a hold of the SPCA to handle this case.

  • ...And that cow ain't pushing her calf away, she's just licking it.

And how do you know what the guy wants to do with these cows? How do you know if the owner is sick and can't look after his animals? Have you contacted the SPCA about this at all?

I've seen muddier corrals too, this is pretty clean, and those animals look pretty clean. Like I said, there are some that need to be culled, and others that look to be in good shape.

Quite honestly, you can't really tell much from the road...

  • Some of those cows are in okay condition, it looks like they're just on winter feed still and won't be put out on grass until winter feed is done. Sure they got no grass, but at least they're not crowded right? The ones that are foundered need to be put down, especially the ones that can't walk hardly walk anymore. And how do you tell that that cow has no milk? She look likes she's got a bit of milk left, and that calf doesn't look too thin either.

  • Yes I have and they're quite tasty!

  • Well, so much for getting the "bad" guy. He was allowed to take the poor cattle to market! He was allowed to make a profit on them!!!! Have you eaten any hamburger lately?

  • We're getting closr to getting the guy. We have a lot of people involved so it shouldn't be much longer. We'll post it here when it all happens. Thank you for your concern.

  • This is appalling!!! Thanks to whoever took the video and posted it here. Also thanks to hallsneighbor who got me here. I know this sob and he is NOT a farmer, although he may think he is. Mental! He usually leaves hundreds of acres of corn in the field over the winter, feeding deer and other wild animals, meanwhile fencing in cattle to die of starvation and disease. It has become a habbit and MUST BE STOPPED!!! I will be scouting the area and hopefully have more video and results soon.
