Where can you find them in Texas?

@ac3jc it should have already started, but the soil moisture is so low nothing is popping. I was out after the rain to check soils, no go. The rain that happened yesterday only dropped 0.15 inch at some parts in austin. Here only 0.05", not enough. this year may be a bust.

@OutOfaBlueSky Hi, so I think morel mushroom season is about to start or it already has started, we had a good rain yesterday, any good chances out there? I wanna get in on this but have never done it, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

@cmurphy12002 yes I use a lot of wild mushrooms, I cook at La Sombra Bar & Grill, Id love to use local mushrooms if I knew how and where to find them

@ac3jc Where do you cook in Austin? Do you use wild mushrooms? I bet you could find Chanterelles.

@HangingwithJoe Yes, with lens mod. I rested the wide angle lens in the crotch of a tree branch, made a good tripod on the fly.
