HELP COME SAVE THE MURRAY RIVER REDGUMS!

On the 1st of June Environmental Activists, protesting against the illegal and unsustainable exploitation of the largest River Redgum wetlands on the Earth, set up a tree sit cabled to three logging machines in the Millewa State Forest on the Murray River.

It was one of the wettest weeks that week, did the red gum wood that you burnt keep you warm? HYPOCRITS!! And what about the people that rely on this industry to survive, have you an answer for that? Do you like Charcoal Chicken? gee i wonder were the charcoal comes from... and what about Toothpaste, filters in life saving Dialysis Machines and other everyday products.... you all need to get a life and leave those putting up with your crap to live theirs...

We are vegetarians. Do they make toothpaste out of Redgum trees? Thats value adding! And speaking of getting a life...If the government accepts the Buyout, Retraining and Redundancy packagesthat we've proposed the Crumps will be set for life.

what a load of rubbish!!!! if you have another look at this the H spray painted on the trees stands for HABBITAT that means that these trees are not to be cut down, you don't mention that in ya pathetic video, the loggers have stricked guidlines to abide by, if the forrest was not sustainable as you morons have said, wouldn't the forrest be gone by now, and you don't show the kids sitting under the machinery, great parents you are, good to see where our Tax money is going to,.... well of course your vegies, and do i have to explain what part red gum plays in tooth paste.. you still never answered whether the wood you burnt was warm.The crumps maybe set for life but what about everyone else, are you proposing to train and offer redundancy packages to truck drivers, landscaping business, railway tracks will have no sleepers, garden supply businesses, furniture manufacturers, and how about all the people that will be cold with no wood. it is not just the crumps affected.

well ya got ya way, their being locked up now and with their artifical floods i give it about 5 to 10 years and will be destroyed. it has survived 150 years or longer bcause next to that dead stomp if ya zoomed out you would see 4 or so new saplings ready to reach up and fill the canopy. i have one of the last forrest grazing licences and as the town knows an i invite any one to visit the gutrum is one of the healthest out of 4 nabouring closed forrest,but once locked up and fuel loads

Well done man. I felt joy in knowing there is a man in this society who is someone to be proud of.

I have spent days in the forest there looking for anything living on the ground. Did not find one ant or centipede after lifting many logs. Did find one 30 mm long lizard and one tiny spider. It seams to me something is very wrong. I speculate loggers use termite sprays no proof though.

when visual proof is offered and it is refused by your group ie. superb parrot hundreds, happily living in box trees - (ask Carmel) it would not matter if an extinct species bit you on the bum - you would refuse to believe it.
